Accommodation

Bali has numerous quality accommodation with limited budget. Many hotels offers tariffs per day below 35 US$ with clean rooms, hot shower & a little pool. You can find a good deal in www.agoda.com, www.booking.com, .....

Food

Sorry, I Can't comment on Balinese Food. I didn't taste typical Balinese food. Most of the Hotels provide American breakfast & While we were out for sightseeing, we had buffet dinner with mixed varieties.

08.07.2014 - 12.07.2014

Team mates: (from Left) John, Kumar, Thiru, Anis & Me
After intensive search about Bali on Google, we couldn't figure out a way to explore bali on our own itinerary by using public transport & join some selective day trips with a travel agent, like the way we do in our previous trips (the only cheaper way is to rent a motorcycle). So, Halfheartedly decided to book a packaged tour with a travel agent in Bali.
We booked a "3 day tour package" excluding accommodation, with a travel company Star Bali Tour.
Become a Millionaire
Become a Millionaire overnight. Exchanged just 6,000 Indian Rupee equivalent of US Dollars & got-back more than a Million Indonesian Rupiah (1,145,000 as on July 2014). But stop, don't hurry, your morning breakfast may cost close to 50,000 Rupiah. A piece of cake will cost you 10,000 Rupiah.

More than a million Indonesian Rupiah
Quality Accommodation @ affordable price
Bali Summer Hotel: Booked this Hotel on www.agoda.com (my favorite website to book hotels). This hotel is centrally located & convenient to start explore bali. Kuta Beach is at walkable distance & Plenty of Shopping nearby. Check-in & Check-out was smooth. Always a welcome smile @ Reception, friendly & helpful staffs, round the clock. Standard & Quality Breakfast provided in the restaurant (Cost is included with Room tariff). Rooms comes with all basic amenities (Coffee & Tea maker, Television, Refrigerator, Bath Tub, A Balcony & Comfy Bed). Overall its a good hotel & Value for Money Accommodation.

Day 2
More than 7Hours of flying on day 1 & late night arrival to the destination made us too much tired. We woke-up late in the morning & our driver was waiting in the lobby for more than an hour (Sorry Gentleman). As per our itinerary our first stop should be at Batubulan village to enjoy the Magical Show of Barong & Keris Dance, since we are late we decided to skip this & also we were not interested to visit Celuk Village (center of silver smiths).
Places on Itinerary: Batuan Village (home painter artist community), Tegenungan Waterfall, Mas Village (Wood sculpture community), Temen village (Spices Garden), Batur Volcano @ Kintamani, Tirta Empul Holly Spring Temple & Tegalalang rice terraces.
